A multi-disciplinary collaborative project evolved from speculative fiction writing by Elizabeth Kane into publication and performance work. Set in London 2028, Kinetic Conscription immerses the audience in a story that considers the power play of catastrophe in a city corrupted by its own embrace of utopian values.

It couldn’t be clearer that the media landscape in the UK is seriously broken. Throughout the election period the rightwing press gave a glaring demonstration of their attitude towards fair and accurate reporting.
Branding for promotion of a series of printmaking workshops directed at different community groups, in which the participants are encouraged to print about a time in their family's history when they have moved. Demonstrating that England is a multi-cultural island, where changing people, migration and cultural differences is not something to be feared, but celebrated. An issue which has been a much contended subject, this project will create the opportunity for a deeper empathetic understanding of the issues involved, and the recognition of marginalised groups.
